Residency Programs
Apply online in one of five areas: adult acute care, critical care, emergency department, operating room, and post-anesthesia care unit.
We are currently accepting applications for all programs except OR and PACU
Adult acute care nurse residents rotate to two areas within the hospital’s medical and surgical division during a 12-week orientation period. During the eighth week, they interview with nurse managers from both rotation units. Upon completion of the 12-week orientation period, residents will be placed on their home units and receive individualized orientation meetings and be assessed by the unit manager.

Critical care nurse residents will rotate to two areas within the hospital’s critical care division during their 12-week orientation period. During the 10th week, residents will interview with nurse managers from both rotation units. After completing orientation, they will be placed on their home units and receive an individualized orientation and assessment by their unit manager.

Emergency department nurse residents spend the initial 12 weeks in the hospital’s Emergency Department. Upon completion of the 12 -week period, nurse residents are transitioned to staff RN positions in the Emergency department where they receive an individualized orientation and assessment by their unit manager.
Operating Room
Operating Room nurse residents spend the initial 12-week orientation period in the hospital’s main Operating Room. They will rotate to different specialties within the Operating Room during their experience, based on preference and nurse resident progress. Upon completion of the 12-week period, nurse residents are transitioned to a staff RN position in the Operating Room where they receive an individualized orientation and assessment by their manager.
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit nurse residents spend the initial 12-week orientation period in the hospital’s main Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. Upon completion of the 12-week period, nurse residents are transitioned to a staff RN position in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, where they will receive an individualized orientation and assessment by their manager.
