Nurse Training
A one-year structured training program for nurses pursuing a career in medical/surgical or critical care nursing at Lexington Health.
Requirements
- ADN, diploma or bachelor of science degree in nursing. New graduate nurses who acquire their nursing education through an online program do not meet minimum qualifications
- Licensure in South Carolina as a registered nurse
- Critical care, medical/surgical, intermediate and emergency department units at LMC will not consider new graduate nurses without post-graduation experience except those who have successfully completed this program
A one-year structured advanced training program for nurse practitioners to increase confidence and enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Master or doctoral degree in nursing conferred in the last 18 months
- Licensure in South Carolina as an advanced practice registered nurse
- Two years full-time nursing practice or equivalent experience providing direct patient care within the past five years
Nursing Scholarships & Financial Support
$2,000 and $4,000 Each
Awarded to anyone enrolled as a full-time student in a nursing program or to LMC employees enrolled part-time in a nursing program or select Allied Health programs.
Other Requirements
- Have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.75 for the most recent academic year.
