Applying for the APP Fellowship Program
Program Requirements
Applicants must be:
- A recent graduate of a master or doctoral degree in nursing or physician assistant from an accredited college or university
- Licensure in South Carolina as an advanced practice registered nurse or physician assistant obtained by August 2025
- At least 1000 hours experience for physician assistant applicants
- At least two years full-time nursing practice or equivalent experience in providing direct patient care within the previous five years is preferred

First interviews will be held virtually on March 3rd and 4th.
Second interviews will be held in person either March 23rd or March 30th

Program Starts
August 2026
All materials must be sent in a single email by February 13th in order for an interview to be scheduled.

Once you’ve completed the online application, you’ll need to send the following required documents to appfellowship@lexhealth.org.
- Resume or Curriculum Vitae
- 3 Professional Letters of Recommendation
- Undergraduate and Graduate Transcripts (unofficial transcripts accepted)
All materials must be sent in a single email by February 13th.
First Interview
Selected candidates will receive a link to complete a video interview after the application process.
Final Interview
An on-site interview will be scheduled with an executive interview panel in March 2026 on the Lexington Health campus.

If accepted as a fellow, you’ll need to provide some additional documents.
